How to install Google Maps Widget

If you want to download the plugin ZIP for backup get it on
  1. In your WP admin dashboard, click on Plugins → Add New
  2. In the search field enter google maps widget, hit enter
  3. GMW will be the first result, click Install Now
  4. Click Activate Plugin
  5. That's it! Go to Appearance → Widgets to add maps
